Missouri River - Don't Forget This One!
During the beginning of June it is easy to put blinders on and only look at some of the famed stonefly hatches around Southwest Montana and forget about the state's most consistent fishery - the Missouri River! The "Mighty Mo" has been fishing great all spring and early summer for Montana Flyfishing Expeditions and will surely continue throughout the entire summer - don't forget that this tremendous tailwater has hatches of their own and although the bugs may be smaller the fish are DEFINITELY not! A lot of anglers like to hit the Missouri when things are crazy on the freestones which is always a great idea if you are looking to duck the crowds!
